Dew Circuit

Privacy Policy · Effective 12 September 2026

Summary: Dew Circuit is offline-first and needs no account. Your progress never leaves your device. The one thing that does use the internet is an optional rewarded ad on the lose screen, served by Google AdMob — and Google's ads SDK collects the data listed below.

Who we are

Dew Circuit is developed by Craig Aslette (package id com.craigaslette.dewcircuit). Privacy questions: craigaslette@gmail.com.

Data we collect ourselves

None. We run no server and receive nothing. We do not collect names, email addresses, precise location, contacts or photos.

Data stored on your device

Game progress is stored only on your device using Android DataStore: clean circuits, best score, unlocked species, cosmetic sheens and your settings. It stays there unless you clear app storage, and we never see it.

Advertising

Gameplay is entirely offline. There are no banners and nothing interrupts a circuit. The only ad is optional: when the sun runs out and a circuit is lost, you may choose to watch one rewarded video for cloud cover — extra sun ticks, with your dew put back where it was. Declining costs you nothing and the game plays exactly the same.

That ad is served by Google AdMob. To serve, measure and personalise ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK (and the ad networks Google mediates through) collects and shares:

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before showing personalised ads, and an Ad privacy choices item in Settings lets you change that choice at any time. Anywhere in the world you can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your Android settings.

We do not sell your personal information. Google processes this data under its own policies: see how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Analytics

No third-party analytics SDKs. We collect no crash or usage reporting of our own.

Purchases

There is no required in-app purchase. Optional cosmetic sheens may use Google Play Billing in a later update; the Night Moss item is a stub in this version and does not charge. This policy will be updated before any paid item ships.

Children

Dew Circuit is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. It is not listed as "Designed for Families". Because ads may use advertising identifiers, parents and guardians should review their device ad settings and Google Play family options.

Your choices

Uninstalling the app removes locally stored progress. You can clear app storage from Android system settings, decline the optional ad at any time, and change your ad consent from Settings where that option appears.

Changes

We may update this policy when features change. The effective date at the top will be revised accordingly.
