NexoRift Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the NexoRift game (Android package com.nexorift.app) when played as a website, a local HTML file, or an Android app distributed on Google Play.

1. Summary

NexoRift is a single-player action game. It does not create an account, does not require sign-in, and does not operate its own game server. Progress is stored on your device. We do not sell personal information.

2. Data stored on your device

The game saves, on the device only (app storage or browser local storage): coins, crystals, lives and life-timer state, owned characters and weapons, cleared stages, achievements, settings, and similar save data. This is app functionality / saved game data. This HTML/app file does not send that save data to a NexoRift server.

3. Data we do not collect

The game does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or files. It does not include analytics, crash-reporting, or social-network SDKs.

4. Optional rewarded ads

NexoRift never shows an ad during a match or without you asking. The only ads are optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch:

• after you defeat a boss, you may watch one ad for bonus crystals;
• if you have no lives left, you may watch one ad for extra lives.

There are no interstitial (pop-up) ads. The web version shows a short placeholder instead of a real ad.

In the Android app, these ads are provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares:

• device or other identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID and app set ID;
• your IP address, which may be used to estimate your approximate location;
• app interactions, such as app launches and ad views;
• diagnostic information, such as app and SDK performance.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google’s consent form, and an AD PRIVACY CHOICES button on the in-game Privacy screen lets you change your choice. Anywhere, you can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in Android settings.

5. Google Play and Android

If you install NexoRift from Google Play, Google processes install, update, and store-account data under the Google Play Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The Developer does not receive your Google account password.

6. Children

NexoRift is a combat action game. It is not directed at children under 13 and is not part of Google Play’s Designed for Families programme.

7. Your controls and deletion

Erase in-game progress with RESET SAVE on the home screen. You can also clear the app’s storage in Android Settings, or uninstall the app. Because save data stays on the device, uninstalling and clearing storage deletes that copy. For other privacy requests, email craigaslette@gmail.com.

8. Sharing and security

Your save data is never shared. The only data shared with a third party is what the ad SDK collects, as described in section 4. Device storage is only as secure as the device and operating system.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated text will appear on this page and on the in-game Privacy screen. The date at the top will change.
